Become Successful Company

In today’s digitally driven world, IT departments are usually the ones moving companies onward.

It seems to reason, then, that companies would focus on this team’s hiring budget to construct a strong department with unique positions and skill sets.

While it may take some time to fill all of the positions in your IT department, there are a few important tasks that every company should target first.

To that goal, a panel of Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) members talked about the following topic:

“When building out your company’s IT department, what’s an important role you should be sure to include? “How valuable is this role to the company?”

Listed below are the top roles they suggest.

Success Manager

“In my view, having a dedicated success manager is essential for achieving a high adoption rate for any technology. When a tech department has a success manager, it makes it simpler for the rest of the company to take on implementation duty since there is an ambassador on hand to answer questions and offer demos.” David Hunter from Epic Web Studios

Nobody is made responsible if more than one person is held responsible.

“We are a small company, and when Covid happened, we hired tech companies to help us as we work digitally. The point of contact between the IT business and our company should have been appointed early on. To avoid having too many cooks in the kitchen, establish who is responsible for what and when. Nobody is responsible if more than one person is held responsible.” Givelle Lamano, Lamano Law Office

Engineer in Quality Control

“A quality control engineer is a valuable addition to technical teams that are frequently ignored. QA specialists analyze every area of a program and act on the user’s behalf. Engineers and designers cannot imagine every use case, and outsourcing comprehensive testing to these jobs hurts both velocity and work satisfaction.” DevriX, Mario Peshev

Director for IT Business
