Day 1–5 of #100DaysOfCode: Sharing My Progress to Inspire Yours!
Hello, coding family! I started the new year off well by taking up the #100DaysOfCode challenge to master core JavaScript. This isn’t just a challenge; it’s my New Year’s commitment, and I’m excited to share my progress with you from Day 1 to Day 5!
Days 1–3: Creating and Building the HTML/CSS Basis
Starting this challenge was a great way to kick off my coding action in 2024. With Visual Studio Code, Node.js, and npm, I slowly built up my development environment. Having a simple static homepage show up, created with basic HTML and CSS, heightened my interest in what was to come.
Days 4–5: JavaScript Basics and Project Creation
Check out the game!
The new year sees a fresh focus on JavaScript basis. With some prior knowledge, I explored a project close to my heart: a number-guessing game. It’s my way of closing the gap between what I know and what I want to learn.
As I look back on the first five days, I see I’ve created a solid foundation for my solution. The task left is to go into JavaScript functions, arrays, and asynchronous programming to understand basic JavaScript.
